Bihar: IAF’s Surya Kiran team displays spectacular aerobatic airshow over Ganga river

In Bihar, the Surya Kiran team of the Indian Air Force exhibited spectacular performances on the second and final day of the aerobatic airshow over the Ganga River at Patna today.

Skydiving, manoeuvring, aerial stunts and other aerobatic skills displayed by the Surya Kiran team enthralled the large number of people, including children. Despite scorching heat, thousands of people turned up to witness the occasion at a large stretch of the JP Ganga path.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the airshow, which was organised to mark the respect to Babu Kunwar Singh, the great freedom fighter from Bhojpur in Bihar, on the occasion of Vijayotsav, the valour day. During the first freedom struggle 1857 revolution, his contribution was immense and led the war against the colonial British rulers.
